What comes after setting goals?

Written by Lindsey Kaszuba

Have you ever attempted to diagnose or improve your health on your own?

I have and I know how hard, overwhelming and lonely it can be.

There is so much conflicting information out there on health, which is mostly just broad recommendations that don’t work for everyone.

In the midst of the overwhelming pile of data, we often don't have the proper support, cheerleaders, or people to ask for guidance or reassurance that we're on the right track, which makes it even more frustrating.

Life fluctuates, managing schedules is challenging, kids require more time than we can give them, work demands our presence, and we still need to find time for ourselves. But let’s be real…that’s a lot! So how can you find time to do it all?

In short, you can’t! At least not at the same time.

There are so many distractions and obstacles in life, and oftentimes it even seems like the universe is trying to make things more difficult and test your commitment. Like every time you decide you’re going to eat healthier and then your kid gets sick and it’s back to Chinese takeout.

It's much easier to give up on your health goals and put yourself last when difficulties arise. If you don't have the proper support system and community, you’ll likely give up. We’ve all been there.

But, as we all know, it’s not just goals that are important.

It’s what we do every day to get there. It’s who and what we surround ourselves with. It’s the internal dialogue we continuously have. It’s the habits we come back to again and again.

So how can you embrace the chaos and confusion? My simple approach is to become comfortable with the uncomfortable.

The people in our community and solid support are what help us stay on track. The real work is never done alone - it takes a village, right? If you’ve got kids, you know that’s the real truth. It can’t be done single-handedly.

Our health is the same. We need support to remember that we are allowed time for ourselves, to re-write old beliefs, and to ditch bad habits. You, me, and the rest of us deserve to feel confident, empowered, and free in our own bodies.

Although being eager to change is necessary, it’s our actions that actually bring about change.

The thing I love most about my coaching program is this:

It’s a powerful container for parents who are confident enough to know their worth and courageous enough to realize it’s time to make their goals a reality.

Having the right support can be the difference between knowing what to do and actually doing it.

It’s time to set yourself up for success.

It’s time for health to get simpler, not harder.

It’s time to create healthy habits that last.

It’s time to feel confident and empowered enough to make it happen.

It’s time for an important question: How ready are you to create healthy habits that last so you can be at peace within yourself?

I want you to be a part of the expansive, transforming, and powerful coaching container that I deliver.

To help you feel more secure and at ease in your body, I want you to see how your health can be simple and attainable. Your successes can be expedited by working with a coach, and I want you to feel loved and supported as we work together to do that.

Let's discover what you may have known all along: the power already exists within you it’s just waiting to be released. I simply help you in pulling it to the surface.
